Every summer, UUP members from CNY Chapters join with union members from the Greater Syracuse Labor Council to celebrate Labor Day with a parade and rally at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 4th at the Expo Center. The Upstate Medical Chapter has 100 general admission tickets and 25 Orange lot parking passes for UUP members who want to attend the NY State Fair for free on Labor Day. All we ask in return is that you arrive at 10 AM to assemble and participate in the short parade across the Midway followed by a brief labor rally at the Expo Center. No political signs or literature are allowed but wear your UUP colors! We have red and white UUP t-shirts in all sizes available at the chapter office M-F, 10 AM – 3 PM, 203 Madison Towers for those that need UUP t-shirts. Last year, the parade was rained out. Let’s hope for better weather this year. The registration process is different this year.
