The UUP Upstate Medical Chapter will be hosting a Professional Development Workshop at 12 PM on Monday, September 25th in Room 4414A of the New Academic Building (NAB). Brent Underwood, the NYSUT Labor Relations Specialist for the Upstate, ESF, and Morrisville campuses will review the job security rights and appointment, evaluation, and promotion process, including permanent appointment, for professional employees. This presentation will be focused on professional employees, but all UUP members are welcome to attend and ask questions about their job security, appointment, evaluation, promotion, and workload rights according to the UUP collective bargaining agreement, i.e. the UUP contract.
This workshop is for UUP Members Only. In-person participation is limited to 75 participants and lunch will be provided for those that register no later than September 18th. There will be a virtual Zoom meeting option and participation is limited to 100 participants.
